We are designing Time Capsule so encrypted capsules remain available until the selected unlock date, with multiple recovery mechanisms and redundant checks.

How it works

  • Timelock encryption uses the drand network.
  • The encrypted capsule payload is stored on Cloudflare.
  • Capsule metadata lives in Cloudflare D1.
  • A scheduled Worker checks for unlocked capsules.
  • When email is configured, you get a confirmation right away and an unlock reminder later.
