Write a message, record your voice, capture a photo or video, or save a memory for the future. Your capsule stays private and locked until the date you choose.

Policy & ownership

Read the long-form commitment we make to people who trust us with something sealed, plus a practical guide to leaving the right access behind for the people you love.

Book of Lives

Time Capsule is the private layer. Memory Pages are the collective one.

Time Capsule lets one person send something forward. Memory Pages do the opposite emotional job: they gather what many people remember about one life, so those stories do not fragment and vanish.

Memorial pages, retirement tributes, milestone pages, and community remembrance all belong here.

Time, memory, and human history

Time capsules are older than the phrase “time capsule”

Long before modern capsules were sealed in steel, humans were already leaving memory objects for the future: foundation deposits, tomb objects, inscriptions, memorial books, and messages meant to outlast their makers.

We pulled together a short history of why people do this at all, how the modern time capsule became popular, and what this project is really continuing.

Before the 20th century Egyptian tombs, Greek inscriptions, church memorials, and early foundation deposits.
Modern popularity The Century Safe, the Crypt of Civilization, and the Westinghouse capsules turned the idea into a public ritual.
Why it matters now People still want context, continuity, and a way to speak across time, not just store files.
